  • Original Research Articles: Double-blind anonymous peer review + post-publication peer review.

Note: Authors may suggest preferred reviewers or opt for open peer review where both the reviewer and author identities are disclosed.

6. Revisions and Response

After receiving feedback, authors will have the opportunity to revise and resubmit their manuscripts. Reviewers may request additional data, clarification, or substantial rewrites based on their evaluation.

  • Revision Timeline: Authors will have 2-4 weeks to complete and submit revisions based on reviewer feedback.
  • Final Decision: After revisions are submitted, the paper will be re-evaluated by the editorial team for a final decision (acceptance, further revisions, or rejection).

7. Post-Publication Peer Review

In addition to anonymous or open peer review, PIBJ encourages post-publication peer review. After a paper is published, readers and experts are invited to comment on the findings, contributing to ongoing academic dialogue.

  • Community Engagement: Authors are encouraged to engage with post-publication comments and respond where necessary.
  • Updates: Major revisions or updates based on post-publication feedback will be reviewed and incorporated into the published paper as necessary.
