3PO Index Scoring Metrics

3PO Index · Transparent Methodology

One score. Ten measures. Exactly 100 points.

The Pyrrhic Press Open-Access Index evaluates measurable openness, publishing access, persistent identifiers, discoverability, engagement, and ethical transparency. Every assessment must show its evidence, deductions, calculation, and assessment date.

The corrected 3PO formula

Each metric contributes its stated number of points directly. There is no multiplier, divisor, or hidden adjustment.

3PO = FR + FP + CC + DOI + SC + ORCID + OA + SAC + RDPE + TEP Maximum score: 15 + 15 + 10 + 10 + 10 + 10 + 10 + 5 + 10 + 5 = exactly 100 points.
